HPC Summer School 2017

The HPC (High Performance Computing) group at the University of Saskatchewan hosted their first HPC Summer School during the week of July 24th - 27th. Two members of the Canadian SuperDARN group attended: Marci Detwiller and Kevin Krieger.

The sessions attended were: an introductory to HPC, parallel programming with the Chapel programming language, data visualization with ParaView, data management with Globus, and parallel programming with Nvidia GPUS using python and CUDA.

A lot of good information was presented, which will be useful for the Canadian SuperDARN group in the future!
